Top drivers such as Townsend Bell, Paul Tracy, Ron Emmick, Joey Wimsett, Wesley Boswell and Alec Gumpfer have set track records on this course.
Every second Saturday Night racers test their racing skills in karts that range in speed from 30 to 100 miles per hour. Speeding down the straight-aways and chicane, leaning to the left and right in the corkscrew and sweepers with hands tightly gripping the wheel. The sensation of speed! The Maui Go Kart Association also hosts the yearly Hawaii State Karting Championships in December.
